Good heavens, I can't believe you are jumping this poor guy for his dreadful suggestion of making the shittiest weapon a little less terrible.

OH NO NOW ALL WEAPONS ARE THE SAME - No. Nobody wants all weapons to be same. A simple change of maybe making every single goddamn Shuriken in the module do +1 piercing damage in addition to the pitiful 1d3 and people come out of the woodwork claiming it'd ruin EFU as we know it and spend dreadful, precious DM time. If a DM wants to do it they will, or won't - they don't need screaming hordes defending them from good suggestions.

Man! You all need to chill out a bit. Sure, it's good to have a variety of weapons and spells - they don't need to all be the same usefulness or strength either. But innocently suggesting that a weapon that's so incredibly terrible that I have not seen it seriously used once here in, how long have I played, almost four years, that's not at all a reason to cry out in terror and fright of dreadful, dreadful change.

Heck, I hate change myself! I haven't changed my underwear in ten years! And I still think this isn't the terrible, unbalancing, server-destroying suggestion I feel some make it out to be.

^ - LOL?

Sick. I sure am looking forward to going and finding every single Shuriken in our loot tables and on our merchants and in our DM loot and putting on +1 damage to mollify the one person who might use them.

Nobody said to modify every shuriken out there. But something on this line where a player can make his own choice if he wants to be a star throwing ginsu wouldn't hurt.

Make a perk and the 5th level PC can suddenly become Kato.

You have spent much time training with the shuriken.
(Monk only)
+ Weapon focus (shuriken)
+ Weapon Specialization (shuriken)

NOTE: Before everybody starts whining about OP. this perk would give a +1 to hit and a +2 to damagae to a weapon that deals 1d3 damage. How much damage does a base light crossbow with no perks and no enchantments do?

Mort

I like the perk idea; Not that hard to implement either.

It's also not that hard to implement a flat +1 dmg to all shurikens with the OnEquip Script.

You know it's the summer when a server has a debate on shurikens.
