Move the Longest Night start point

Since the longest night start was moved to the Mausoleum and Grimfael, this quest has been restricted quite heavily to PCs who are all non-evil and all capable of entering the Dominion. I'd suggest moving the start point back to the hole in the wall with a "Paladin Smith" or whoever giving the quest. Longest Night is great, and it would be good to see more teams doing it, especially because of the Pallid Mask wanting to set up a Docks outpost, and them seeming to be more present there these days than the Colony.

Ugh. Keep this non-evil only. There are quest where a paladin cannot do.

Frankly, it's an easy quest, low-supply output in, but high in XP.

There really is no issue here.

Lol gj thomas you managed to not only comprise sentences which don't make sense but you missed the point entirely, I agree with dollar either move the npc or have one at the docks

Where did I say "let Evil PCs do it"? I actually said "move it to where a different Paladin gives the quest". The problem isn't that it's non-evil only (which is a sensible thing) but that it's restricted by alignment and location rather heavily. It should be a big thing to do for good-aligned groups. A start by the Temple walls would let PCs not have to walk through Dominion Central, which is handy considering how paladins inevitably seem to run into trouble.

It's a crusading organization. Why would they let evil people help them? Seems pretty strange the entire premise of the post, Non-evil seems alright to me.

Thomas, please start reading! Apart from that I think the suggestion has merit, and should be pretty easy to implement if desired.

Yes, please, move it to right outside the QA. It makes perfect sense in RP for the quest giver location to be elsewhere (some paladin waiting right outside the QA saying 'Hey, help us, we (spoiler)!' instead of you having to go all the way back to the Ziggurat to speak with someone just to send you all the way back to the temple district), and keep it to non-evil, of course.

And yes, Thomas, start reading, lol. First, read to the topic of this thread to understand what the basic suggestion is, at least, then if you feel up to it, read the first post, then the one after Damien's if you're still not understanding...

Agree with the OP.  It makes little sense to have it setup the way it is, considering how it starts out.  It makes it feel more urgent with the NPC outside the hole in the wall, in the Temple District.
