Caddies

Although the suggestion is appreciated, it seems superfluous. It might clash with items and I'm failing to see how it would 'add' anything; in fact, would be an annoyance to some classes who rely on stealth.

Drakill Tannan

It would add style.

But Caddies is right about stealthers.

AceOfSpadesX

Style, exactly. Just looks cool. And it would make sense if a stealther with a flaming sword is easier to detect.

Drakill Tannan

Now that i think of it, a stealther can unequip his weapon and equip it again just before stabbing time.

i will try to fix you

My sword is so cold it glows

Drakill Tannan

That's because is magically coldy.

Word

Howlando

I personally like the idea actually as a counter to the stealthed up, fully buffed assassin being able to sneak right next to the unprepared target actually, but the suggestion is probably not worth hashing out or bothering to implement at this time.

Relinquish

All this would insinuate for situations like howland's assassin one is the assassin not taking out his weapon until within striking range.

Decimate_The_Weak

I'd personally like the "glowy effect" to be taken off... it does add "awe" to the weapons that are DM-loot and have the "glowy effect".

I also think that if that is not done, they should most definately have a glow;

Fire: Orange
Cold: White
Electric: Blue
Acid: Green
