Its Golden and its an Alliance!

The aim of the faction is to construct a safe place for all Gnomes and Dwarves arrivals and to improve the lot of both races. This of course is very wide and allows for tons of individual aims and objectives.

As an example of what people are up to at the minute: Mapping out routes around the isle, building relations with underwater people, forming alliances with DM factions, plotting to cause trouble for others, regular patrols of the Foothills... and much more!

If you join you will be busy!

The PC's have obvious racial hatreds, along with a rejection of slavery and necromancy.

The faction is growing nicely but could always do with fresh meat, so all are welcome. The entry requirements are pretty loose outside of Gnome and Dwarf races. Being overtly evil would also be pretty tough.

Many of the players are GMT+0 based, there are lots of folks around at these times, a few scattered about at other times.

We are already linked into a number of the main threads of server plots and have plenty of natural allies and foes/rivals within the PC and DM factions.

There is a flavour of "building" something to the faction and it will potentially suit people who fancy sticking with a PC for a while.

Hardcore PVP is a potential outcome but it isn't core to the concept and conflict is more likely be lower level "plotting", for the vast majority of the time.

Good reasons to join this concept:
We're working on building a faction HQ and actively looking for input on how to do this.
We're mostly centered ouside the usual areas of the Ziggurat, so it's a change of scenery and a chance to explore.

Remember, Gnomes and Dwarves can cover a lot of character ideas. I've played bards for both races, any they work well. We definitely offer Rogues a chance to rock out, considering all our main enimies are alive, and use locks and traps. We don't currently have any Dwarven clerics either, so it'd be a great chance to play a cleric of one of the lesser known dwarf gods like Dugmaren Brightmantle, Sharindlar etc. Dwarves also make great monks if you can find a suitable order (there is one od Clangeddin Silverbeard somewhere)

Yes, make more dworfs, they crush!

GoblinSapper

Dwarven Wizards absolutly roxxors soxxorz too. I rolled a Dwarven Abjuration/Rune specialist, I am in love with his HP.

Dwarves also make good rangers if your not interested in animal empathy. Still feeling out concepts. You could easily make a Dwarven rogue that doesn't sneak, much like my own, and call him a siege engineer, give him EFUSS skills in masonry and blahblahblahblah sorry, i'm rambling.

PS: I like dwarves.

And remember you can always Go-Gnome.

+5 ac versus giants is yummy for gnomes

TheImpossibleDream

+4 dodge ac vs giants

Barehander

Meh. My Ranger/Rogue of Baravar is dead. I do have a cleric of Dugmaren Brightmantle I could play every now and then, but I guess I've my hands full with Windbag. Too bad, I was really looking for a concept like this when I was playing Luvic.

We have had lots of postive interest and new members are coming, but more are welcome. Please drop me a PM if you want to know more.

Plots ahoy!

Bumped because silly Yalta forgot to mention that we got the Hold upgraded and many plots in action are centered around improving it further. If you want to stamp your name (possibly literally if your PC's a stonemason) on EFU:A, this faction would be excellenet to join.

We just got ourselves a forge! Much stuff happening IG, any and all gnome and dwarf PC's welcome.

Although my Alliance PC isn't really active, I'd like to add that this is one of the few factions with their own location that is more Good/Lawful than anything else. We've had Evil members before but the faction would actively welcome Paladins, if you fancy making one but have a struggle for somewhere outside the Pallid Mask to fit in. Dwarf Pallies might have to cope with the -2 CHA, but they'll have awesome saves despite it :D.
