Restful Sleep

So as I washed the grime and hatred off of me after work today, I was wondering (for some reason) why there are beds, specifically labeled "Comfortable Beds" and an NPC that offers to let you sleep on his pee stained rags in the Newcomers tower, but you can't actually rest there.

"Well," I reasoned, "They probably want to make you pay the 10 gold for resting at the inn."

Which makes sense. But that led me off on another tangent- why is it sleeping on a bedroll at a campsite in the middle of a sacrificial cave is as restful as sleeping on a soft bed in an inn behind a reasonably thick wooden door with blankets and everything?

So I though, HEY, wouldn't it be great if there was a bonus for sleeping in an owned or rented bed, ala Fallout 3 where the Well Rested status increased your EXP gain?

So I thought- why not apply an Aid buff to people when they sleep in an inn room or owned bed (such as guild or otherwise appropriate sleeping quarters), and obviously no such buff (or even a temporary atk bonus debuff) for sleeping in the wilds. Alternatly, Druids Rangers and Barbarians could recieve a buff for sleeping in the wilds, and a debuff for sleeping in an owned bed or inn room.

Thoughts?

There is a bonus. Sleeping in piss stained, public, or bad accommodations gives far less HP recovery I have found. Sadly, the EFU DMs think that camping is just as bad as these terrible conditions and so sleeping on your bedroll is akin to sleeping in your own vomit. I think this reflects Howland's intimate hatred of the outdoors.

Low levels can rest after speaking with Mister Peesinbeds.

But, yes, HP gain is different in different kinds of beds.
Try out the Perk that provides you benefits from sleeping.

You just need to get closer to the bed. Like, really close.

And you need to be level 3 or lower.
