Xeral never had any real direct conflict with any of my characters, but there was plenty of annoying banter between them and it at least was interesting from the bits I saw.

Plot's over so I'll post this now at the request of folks (And Talir).

[21:40] Plot started prior to 14th of January :O

[hide="A taste of Xeral's business."]So- Xeral's full story now that the plot is more or less over.

As a lowly Caliphar First Degree, Xeral Al-Reja was contracted by a PC played by Pup who I sadly cannot remember the name of. The idea was he wanted Xeral to make a disease to wipe out Gobsquat. However this proved ineffective so Xeral made a risky move: A Faux-Darkening was attempted.

The idea was a large magical ritual to keep short term darkness (His first attempt at a super weapon). The target was to be Gobsquat (The original idea of the Arcane Zone came up here and the idea was a thick enough darkness could bring forth safe conditions for the Nightrisers to march and slaughter.

In theory it was perfect. The risers would march, steal souls, etc. The Conclave would more or less be unaffiliated.

To do this he sought out the Headhunters. A cool meeting and got my ass kicked, but afterwords they departed. As Xeral sat in contemplation he eventually decided to leave. As he did the door was blocked by a wall of fire.

A wizard teleported in and threatened to kill him. He was told there were "Infected" around the island that needed to be convinced to help embrace their infection.

A few days passed and later he met with Tiporium once more, being told that there was research that needed obtainment that would help all of our goals. It was agreed Tiporium would allow Bailey and Xeral to be spared when the Nightrisen took control of the colony once more.

Group was assembled consisting of Hanzou (Before Conclave), Alden Murier (Before Conclave), Myself, Bailey, and Patrician Equinox Assassin. We marched through a Lich's headquarters (A rival of Tiporium) eventually we came to the Lich, fought it, and got our asses whooped  (except Eq) and Tiporium found his research he required.

We were told that we had "Doomed the colony" but Xeral and company had been used as keys, something that did not sit well with an egomaniac like Xeral at all.  (screenshot above)

So it was decided, in an angry and frustrated conversation with Bailey on his throne: Tiporium would be hindered at every turn for his manipulations.

Two days later the Conclave was besieged by the "New Risers".

Next day later Xeral Al-Reja informed the Pallid Mask and Ironmantle of the experiments being done and steps were taken to remove them from the infected. (Score Tiporium 1: Al-Reja 1)

A few days after that the Shield was restored over the Conclave, effectively keeping them safe from the Nightrisen. (Score Tiporium 1: Al-Reja 2)

Because the Conclave was now safe, and the Colony was doomed, things looked pretty well for Team Conclave.

Except Tiporium was still alive. The pure motivation for the weeks and weeks of manhunting was one fact: To keep him from telling the world that the Conclave (or more importantly Xeral) aided in the attacks upon the Colony.

Last week Tiporium was "Killed", research was found in his sanctum that lead to the events tonight, and the shield capabilities were restored enough to hinder an all out invasion.

Weeks+ if not Months of plotting, exploring (Sorry to folks who never got any loot/potions in our pursuits around the island <_< we didn't either if its any consolation) The next day he blew up using "his" own superweapon.

An awesome EFU ride. This plot more or less encompassed my entire character, and I loved every minute of it.

Pup

The char I played was Abel Ashford.  Sadly I grew incredibly bored of the char.  I am incredibly happy it spawned such an awesome weapon, though.  Almost makes me wish I stuck with him.  Almost.

Fantastic job RwG.  Seriously...
