Really, I think we've all felt those spoiler casters shouldn't be so easily blocked, and that they shouldn't be so fervent in their quest to Crowd Control their homies.

This quest could be made a little harder and a bit more sensible with a slight change.

Gnolls are badass hunters.

If anything they should not be like 10-20 HP like they currently have and the elites should have 50+ more than they currently have and do a shitload more damage.

Needs serious rebalance IMO.

I think the sheer number of gnolls makes this quest fine. I do not think the HP of the gnolls is a problem at all since there are various enemy types on this quest. I have nearly died, and seen friends nearly die quite a bit on this one. If the quest is made easier due to being buffed out the ass, I don't think the quest needs to be made harder yet.

The one thing that I will agree with are the casters and their effects on their allies. Not sure how you would fix that, but it does seem silly at times.

So, what you're saying is you wouldn't mind if I tossed in a few slay living bolts on the archers, yeah? :-)

For the level range though (remember you can do this as a level 3, if not 2) it's really not too badly balanced. Perhaps a gnolls part 2 would be in order. >.>

Yessssss!

Personally, I always thought that the outer area of the gnolls quest is a fairly good length. Put a miniboss at the end of the outside area and the inner area could be easily expanded into a second part.

NEED MOAR GNOLLS (the wimpy ones) WAVES UPON GLORIOUS WAVES!

P.S. This quest reminds me of the epic LOTR stuff with like 5 or 6 adventurers squaring off against a seemingly undefeatable mass of enemies.  Its is epicly awesome and NEEDS MOAR GNOLLS!

P.P.S.  Moar Gnolls please, Thanks!   :)

Totally agree. Gnolls part 2, levels 4-9. Assault a gnoll fort. Shit yeah.

yes please. While the catering to 2-6 is nice lately please PLEASE add some things for the level 8 to do. IMO that is worst cut-off in efu quest-wise, level 8.

A second part to this quest would be great.

I would like to see a Gnoll's Part 2, but only if it delves deeper into the Gnolls demonic background and worship.

@VP
Hmm. I'd actually agree. There are a couple of 3-8s and of course you can do 4-9s but there are increasing restrictions on quests, for example the Gem Mines starts in the Zig but the QA is in the Docks, the Longest Night is now Evil Need Not Apply, etc. In the 3-7 range you see a lot of pick up teams, but 4-9s you tend to want a good squad. It would be nice to maybe see a couple of smaller, low Xp 4-9s like Purple Crystal, just to expand the range of stuff people do without using a powerquest team. Would encourage higher level PCs picking up new allies.

As for Gnolls, IMO give the casters that use Color Spray Ray of Enfeeblement instead. CS is a joke, as you're typically warded and the gnolls aren;t so you can just go on a Coup de grace Frenzy. On the other hand Ray is a short range spell that can bust through mindwards, won't affect the average frontliner that often (fortsave) but can be very annoying if it does hit.
