I happened upon your server the other day, and have had a look about and must say I am most impressed. After having thought I was bored of Neverwinter, I am really pleased to have found somewhere that caters for all sorts of roleplay styles. :p

I have a few questions, though.

One - Does the Ziggurat bring people from the real world (earth) into Abeir-Toril, or even Other Planes?

Two - Do you have to request permission from a player to PVP them?

Three - What is your policy on powerplay (powergaming)?

One: To my knowledge the Ziggurat only brings people from the same plane, SO FAR OMG

Two: You need DM supervision for PvP in any area that has an NPC in it, no matter how many NPCs or where they are. You also always need to send the DMs notice -before- PvP starts, even if there's no NPCs, but in such a case you don't need to wait for one. Examples: outside the Ziggurat in the wilds, there are plenty of areas with no NPCs. Open season.

Three: CHOO CHOO ALL ABOARD THE QUEST TRAIN

You don't need to PM the player you're PvPing, but you do need to get a DM if there are PCs

And for the last bit, there are rules on abusing the stupid AI and metagaming trap locations as if you've done the quest before (when you have to pretend you haven't), but the Quests can be done once per reset and otherwise you can do as many as you like

You need to send in an application to the DM team for a special background if you intend your character to be from anywhere other than the Prime Material Toril.

I have a few questions, though.

I've seen outsiders come from the portal.

Two - Do you have to request permission from a player to PVP them?

You must always send a message in the DM channel before engagin PvP. If you are in an area with NPCs, if the DM is not there you cannot continue (with a few exceptions) If there are no NPCs in the area you wish to PvP, you may procede even if there is no DM

You don't need to send a tell, nor you need the other player to agree to the PvP. However PvP must be done for "In Character" reasons only. Or we'll kill you. (Player, no character)

Three - What is your policy on powerplay (powergaming)?

Some players will hate you, some DMs might not pay you as much attentoin asn they would, otherwise, but in general we don't mind powergaming, powerbuilding or powerleveling. If you are a powergamer that doesn't meant you won't get DM attention though, if your are an awsome RPer, it doesn't really matter.
