I figure that most of us who play computer games probably are a little particular about how our keyboards/mice are set up. And seeing as I just went out and bought a new mouse, I was curious as to what keyboard/mouse everyone here uses?

Currently I have this:

Logitech MX1000
Love this one to death. Its not broken, but I wanted to get a replacement that was just as good in case it breaks or the battery wears out

Logitech MX Revolution
And this one is in the mail to replace the above. We'll call this one Mr. Sexy!

As far as my keyboard goes, I just use the one on my laptop.

Wireless mice do not count as gaming mice.

Fail.

djspectre

real men don't use wires.

Paha

Steelseries Ikari Laser currently. Either steelseries or razer mouses for me.

KershofSetic

Logitech mx518. I'd never use a wireless mouse since I play FPS games and, no matter what anyone says, even the most recent laser mice have a 'delay'

They also have a terrible habit of DYING and flipping out at inopportune moments.

In that case, real men are people who waste money on batteries.

I pimp the $5 mouse from wal-mart, oh yeah!!

SkillFocuspwn

I got a mouse free with my computer.

I use one of those mice with a ball. :( I am old school.

Yeah the razer is nuts! its got the entire numeric pad (12 buttons!!) at your thumb! And they light up! But honestly...nothing beats the Open Office Mouse:

I have an MX-518 at work and its not a bad mouse, and I've played FPS games for a while successfully both online and usually on the more difficult single-player settings and never had a problem with wireless. Also the 518 doesn't have as many buttons as I like. which is why I went for the 1000 and revolution.

Had the mx1000 for nearly 4 years and its never 'flipped out' ever even during day long gaming sessions. Laser doesn't have that problem, but I've had plenty of 'drift' with standard optical mice!

No batteries to buy...these are rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.

My roommate used one of those up until two days ago when I gave him an MX-518 from work. It has changed his life to go ball-less.

I use the simple, cheap,WIRED, Logitech LX3. I got this mouse just for the side-scroll wheel which is the ONLY way to adjust the camera in EFU IMO. Rock out with yer mice out! :)

djspectre

Yeah the tilt-wheel has been a real help in so many games. For turning the camera angle, targeting enemies (City of Heroes), tossing grenades (call of duty), or many others. The tilt wheel is easier to use IMO because it requires less force to press than the middle click of the wheel itself.

Paha

If you're fps player, you don't use laser, you use optical. That's a fact, so of course you don't use even the newest lasers.
