Are random events rarer now?

I love random events, but I'm noticing far fewer recently. It used to be that a faction patrol would run across 1-2 a reset, but now, I haven't seen one in over a week. Are they less common, or more dispersed? I think these are a really cool addition, especially when they divert you off a quest.

Anyone else noticing this or are they just popping up over a wide variety of places? I'd hate to think they'd just been made really rare, they are a nice diversion and challenge.

Conan The Conqueror

I found one of the random event areas on my first day back a few days ago.

putrid_plum

they are working just fine

Listen in Silence

The question wasn't whether they were working properly, it was whether they're as common as they were initially. I'm inclined to agree with the OP in that they seem to have become fewer in the past week or two.

putrid_plum

I have seen plenty in the last week.

Daemonic Daz

I've came across one since they were introduced XD

Halfbrood

I think due to the massive amounts of areas in the module, (though not sure if all support them) it comes down to luck of the draw!

KreShar

Yah, its really just luck. I didnt see one for like two weeks then one day I found three different random areas right next to each other.

OrchardOfMines

I don't explore often, but I've seen a couple the last week.  Both have been in very remote areas that wouldn't typically be covered by a faction patrol, even those of the Dwarves going through the mountains.

Mort

Nothing has changed.

You people need better RL spot checks

TheImpossibleDream

They spawn far and wide I patrolled about for them quite a bit and alternating resets you can find them on opposing ends of the isle!
