New Subrace: Werefrog

From the mouths of fearful hunters and awed conquistadors plying their trades in the dark interior of Ymph come hushed tales of the elusive frogmen who make their homes in the deepest bogs and lakes of the isle...




Information:

Though most commonly extremely xenophobic, even toward their own kind and other denizens of the bogs and swamps they dwell in, the Ymphian werefrogs' inherently malicious nature will at times call them to leave their waters and roam in search of food and territory. During such times, werefrogs will often band with other races of an acquatic affinity such as kuotoans and sahuagin.  

The greater part of a werefrog's life is spent in the deepest swamps in a ponderous state of isolation with little nourishment, before it finally concludes what sort of life it will pursue. Sometimes, this prolonged state of contemplation means they will make excellent monks and planners. For many others however the hunger of so many years consumes them, turning instead to raiding and feasting upon warmblooded prey who stray too close to the shores of rivers, lakes and swamps.

As time goes by, many werefrogs adopt the traits of their 'other half,' ranging from a deep croaky voice, a pulsating vocal sac, or slimy skin.

- Bonus AC: +3 (natural).
- Favored Class: Any.
- Favored Alignment: Neutral Evil.
- Application: Yes.
- Level Adjustment: 3
- Keywords: werefrog.  

Animal/hybrid form:

- Ability Adjustments: +4 Str, +4 Dex, +6 Con.
- Other: DR 10/+1, 5/+2.

Appearance:

Hybrid Form: Dire Deep Frog or Green Slaad
Animal Form: GLOWING GREEN INTELLECT DEVOURER

Though the adjustment outside of hybrid form should not be anything but +2 nat +2 wisdom as is standard for Lycan.

Theres no model to suit it. Green Slaadi looks like a were frog. Though werebear (celestial avenger model) could work

Less freaky one shot classes that one, perhaps two PCs will ever have and more awesome characters please.

Outside that, I vote no on werefrog. Way to many free feats and bonuses as it is written. Drow is ECL3, Svirf is ECL3, and don't get half of what this overpowered offering has.

Besides, where does it stop...we're on an island. Werewhale? Rare imported Were-hippo? It just seems like this is an outgrowth of the "searching for something that no one has ever ever done" syndrome.
