New Music Override Question

That's right. A efu:a music override with a very awesome score that should enhance the ambience of the gameworld a lot!

Don't hammer the link. It's a huge file (260 Mb!) ... It might make the website go down if too many people download it.

Instructions:

After unzipping it with winrar or another archiver program that reads .7z files, put the files of the override folder in your nwn override folder and put the files of the music folder in your nwn music folder.

Do a backup of the music folder just in case you want to go back to the nwn corny fanfare one day. Otherwise, say goodbye to it and enjoy good thematic music!

I like the new scores, but was wondering if it would be possible for someone to possibly do an override to use the NWN2 Music for this? I like a lot of the scores used in that one also and pretty easy since I figure most of us bought NWN2.

By the way, I like how some of the music was ported over from other great games like Unreal Tournament 3 :p

You can do what you want, dude. If you have nwn2 , you can just switch the music at your leisure if they use .bmus .

Mort, I totally dig what you did, please don't take offense. I was just curious if someone was able to whip one up that used some of the nwn2 music.

And as far as unreal tournament music being used, I'm pretty sure one song is, but its not a big deal....I liked that one the most anyway!

I have a question.
 
I'm a user that has multiple people playing NWN on the same PC. Now I want this music, but I don't want the other person using it to freak out because all the other music is suddenly gone.
 
Is it possible to make an override with this music that will only activate when playing EFU?

You'll have to make seperate EfU folders and just rename them when you want to log into EfU.

E.G override + override_efu : when you want to play EfU, just rename override "override_backup" and rename "override_efu" as "override".

I think that's the only way to do it. You'll also need to do the same for the music folder.

Unless you could make a macro for it. Which I don't know how to do.
