Affordable Shoploot

It's good. It's *great* that fairly affordable Mighty bows are there, especially Mighty Shortbows for small PCs, which just didn't exist before. But... that ammo's never getting used. 10 +1d6 bludgeon vs Undead arrows for 360 odd gold? May as will buy a load of Holy Water to spam at that price, especially as no bow I've seen has +ab vs undead. It seems wasted gear, rather than a consumables supply.

When I saw the place I was thinking it would be a place to resupply useful ammo, the equivalent of going to an NPC for Cure Moderates rather than hoping the next quest drops healing. 99-stacks of ammo would be useful and affordable at most of the given prices, 10 rounds, not so. Fingers crossed it was meant to be 99.

That actually makes me think about a few other stores. There are certain items of shoploot that are worth buying, but most of it beyond the basics is outpowered by common drops and/or very expensive. Yes, it promotes PC traders, but when most of it never sees the light of day, like the Legionnaire's weapons, I wonder why it's there? Surely you add more flavour to the server with stuff that's actually used?
