I recall not too long ago, (Like maybe two days?) Some fellow spammed a bunch of angry angry comments, insulting most of the player base and DM team of CoA. He -claimed- to be Meldread.

Wow.  I just stopped by the forums to see if anything had changed and found this post.

I didn't quit, per-say.  I just got burned out.  It wasn't planned or anything.  If I remember correctly, I was frustrated that my character had fallen into a slump.  I had been playing him for months, and was struggling to dig him out of the hole he had fallen in... but that required enthusiasm and energy.  Then something happened in RL (I forget what exactly, I think I was away from home for a few days)... and when I came back I just didn't feel like logging back on.  I planned to come back in a few days, then days turned into weeks, and weeks into months - and here we are!

I tend to go through periods of intense activity, where I am very very active, and then major burn out.  Which is a direct result of the previously mentioned intense activity.

Then after I recharge my batteries I get the itch to come back.  Right now I am giving consideration to playing again, which is why I am now poking around the forums.

P.S.  I just re-read some of the thread.  Whomever The Boom King is referring to, it certainly was not me.  I haven't been around on these forums or NWN at all since late February / early March.  The same goes for IRC.
