One thing that I just love about EFU:A is the Stygians. They are badass (they use Stygian Steroids. I've heard them called that before >.>), A DM made a specialist use a harpoon on string as a GRAPPLING HOOK!, and they are able to get off with just about anything.

The way it takes so long to level, and the huge toll on death(whether it be permadeath, 1/3 or 1/6 your XP) so when you're faced with a life & death situation you actually act like someone in that situation would

It should be known that I'm only here because someone told me there would be punch and pie.  The punch and pie is definitely my favorite feature. Though I have not been given my punch and pie as of yet.

In the meantime, while I patiently salivate the days away, I've learned to enjoy the fact that players are able and encouraged to make such interesting multifaceted plots and characters.  The content is nearly infinite and rarely boring.  I also like that no aspects of the server have been designed without careful attention to detail.  It just feels real.

I once had two scoundrels playing Cards in the Wastrel.

One goes "Hah! Five Aces, I win!"

one of many PCs present starts to call him a cheater, tensions start to run high.

The other goes, "Hah! You wish! Seven Aces! I win you dog!"

The DMs on this server crack me up.
