Don't see the problem!

Well done, Gebruikers Naam, an arguement of a thousand words can't beat that image! XD

Hitroic is not = Fantasy

Quote from: Porkolt;130716Because the cloak attaches around your neck, and the backpack attaches around your shoulders, taking off either of the two is possible with the cloak on top.

However, the cloak gets trapped if the backpack is put on afterwards. As well, it won't be possible to get the cloak out from under the backpack, because it's trapped their by the straps, thus negating the reason you wear cloaks - to protect you from the elements.

It's got nothing to do with 'modern' either. I used the term anachronism because in the days that cloaks were commonplace, backpacks were not commonplace at all, and vice versa.

(Don't try to lecture me on historical clothing, I'm an historic re-enactor. I'll just keep on bitching back, you've been warned.)

We are not playing a historically accurate game, cause well, it is a game, and therefore has no basis in reality. Glad you get to wear cool cloaks irl without strange stares though, sounds fun!

Thanks for this file, Raposa! Red looks so much cooler with the back and the cloak!

Quote from: Porkolt;130487This is ridiculous. You don't wear scabbards and backpacks over your cloak, that makes the cloak useless. It gets trapped beneath the things and you can't wrap it around yourself anymore, which is what it's for in the first place.

Scabbards are worn under the cloak, and backpacks combined with cloaks are an anachronism anyway.

That's my daily dose of history-nazi'ing done, guys.

What's ridiculous is how much pedantry you managed to fit in a post in response to a community member who's trying to improve our server.
