Override to view Backpacks/Scabbard/Etc + CLOAKS!

You want the awesome custom backpacks/quivers/Bazookas/whatever, but still want to wear that nice +1 cloak? Well, this will solve your problem, you can have both, YES, you CAN have both!

Just download the file I posted here, and paste it in the override folder.

They'll look like this:

yay for cool customization + use of the cloaks.

That is pretty awesome. Is there a way to just turn off your cloak without disabling the benefit you get from the cloak. For example, the armors that have that badass shoulder graphic, in order to display it you can't be wearing a cloak.

There is. I'll see if I can work it, but, I personaly don't like that, because cloaks have IC influence, some of them have insignias, and others are part of uniform, as the stygians. I'll see if I can have it posted here, anyhow. And of course, Your cloak won't be invisible, it is only you or whoever has the override that won't see it.

I think there is yes. Cammi has already done that. I personaly don't like that, for two reasons. First, you'll never know who is seeing your cloak and who is not. Second, IMO, cloaks play a great role on IC customization, sometimes even used as uniforms, and some others have insignias. What if someone makes a faction called 'The Orange Hoods' (Silly, I know), and their uniform is an orange cloak. Well. This is my opinion. The link follows anyhow, it is on the 'Cloak Reverter' part, of course.

This is ridiculous. You don't wear scabbards and backpacks over your cloak, that makes the cloak useless. It gets trapped beneath the things and you can't wrap it around yourself anymore, which is what it's for in the first place.

Scabbards are worn under the cloak, and backpacks combined with cloaks are an anachronism anyway.

That's my daily dose of history-nazi'ing done, guys.

Cloaks in general are an anachronism. So are swords worn anywhere.

This is a fantasy game. It's not supposed to be modern.

And, honestly, I don't know where else you -would- put a cloak but under your backpack. Certainly not over it because then it would make taking the backpack off and leave the cloak suspended away from your body, thus doing nothing.
