Snoteye

All players are for ability to change heads.

So, I'll simply veto it.

Sion Ti'ren

I'm a player, and I'm strongly against it. your face isn't something you should be able to change over night.

If this gets implemented I'll demonstrait the stupidness by changing my face every ten seconds. It will be like everyone became a shifter!

Mort

Sion, I thought you ragequit.

Crod Mondoon

To prevent abuse, perhaps all headsets for chosen Race avail at character creation (there are alot of NPC headsets we cannot atm, access). Then get DM approval for any further changes. Nothing fancy, like a mini app, or Just a question in the DM Questions Private section. "I got my eye ripped out, can I change the headset to reflect it" type of thing. That way, DM's only need approve it, instead of actually dealing with it? (Well, approveing is dealing with it, only less so)  Also, I think most players here, regardless of IRC, are of a higher caliber then your average hack and slash mod, and would not rampantly abuse this, except Sion. He already promised to abuse it, so a forgone conclusion there.:P

Mort

Yeah. We'll just retire people who aren't mature enough to handle this if this comes to pass.

DeputyCool

It's simple. We'll add it, and make being dumb with it a first time bannable offense. IMO.

I agree with Sion with one exception.

Ad a /c hood command that swaps your current head set for the hooded heatset of the chosen race (Dwarves half orcs and.. i think gnomes woulnd't have any, but other races wpuld)

Raposa_Fox

Agreed with Drakill, with the adicion of a /c sethead eyepatch, for humans. So, It would be limited to Hoods and eye-patches.

Skrillix

Provided the DMs are willing to keep an eye on any inane abuses of this (which hopefully will be less work than plowing through all the applications this would otherwise require), I don't think that there will be many problems with this.

What the headsets represent, essentially, are different hairstyles, and headwear. It is relatively simple to change headwear, and similarly, if you want to make sense of changing hairstyles (aside from the fact that it grows / is cut), wigs.

FleetingHeart

Perhaps we could have the ability, at startup only, to change out peg legs and hooks as well? Maybe even remove arms and portions of arms? I may be going too far with this, but these seems like such trivial things to always have to bother a DM for.

9lives

Every time a bearded person loses an eye, they have to simultaneously shave and/or shorten their hair. DNW.

Drakill Tannan

I won't complain about the eyepatch thing, but it's not something i'm looking foward to. /c hood command is good for me.

And since we're proposing new customisation stuff, how about the posibility of dye the character's hair in some shop arround the zigg?

Raposa_Fox

Suggestion to make the backpack command more practical: (( /c setbackpack next  ))

I don't know if it is easy to script, but it is surely easier, and makes more free spaces in the quickbar

ExileStrife

Changing your head, if it does get implemented, will NOT be a legitimate form of IC disguise.  It is just a fun/aesthetics feature.
