Can we have Raw Animal Meat as a 100% drop on all Boars and Deer please? There are a few cook PCs about and being able to hunt them for ingredients would be cool. Raw Chicken or "bird meat" on Seagulls, Parrots etc if possible too?

I would like to see at least the larger game animals carry some sort of standard meat or carcuss item, one that hopefully worked in conjuction with the cooking system to produce an edible item. Some players currently go out of their way to provide food for the Colonists... given these tools, they'd likely take such actions a step further. It also provides nature oriented PCs with a way to visibly make use of a killed animal.

I'm somewhat against this.

At present, when people wish to do this they generally emote it! This provides more flavorful text for us to enjoy, gives some real significance to the hunt and provides the graphic details far superior to seeing someone dash over to a little brown sack left behind when the corpse fades away. I personally prefer this method over "tangible" inventory objects.

Maybe if properly cooked meat had curative or buffing effects (endurance, iron guts) >.>

Considering there's a whole cooking system based around gathering ingredients, seems sensible for meat to be available for it. Raw Animal Meat exists IG but only for some bizarre reason as a drop off mobs. Nightriser steak anyone?

I emoted Belm's wyvern eating tons of various animals and received plenty of rewards.  I know you're more on the cooking kick, but emotes do fine for most things.  If you're really big on cooking crazy shit, contact a DM IMO.

Once saw a child walk up to a man and sell him a grilled chicken sandwich.  Much better than simply using emotes IMO.  I like this suggestion.

Yeah, but the point is we have a *scripted cooking system* that never sees use. Much like all animals drop guts and sinews, there's no real reason not to add meat in.
