Getting XP tick at level six

I am currently level six and receiving an XP tick.   My PC was formerly a member of the Watch, and has not officially been removed from the faction (although I did request removal three times), so perhaps this is related, though it is doubtful since I don't remember receiving a level 6 XP tick as a Watcher.  Bug?  (hahahah, get it? Bug?).

Watcher faction does have the possibility of the DM Faction XP wage but generally is rarely inactive enough, or other factions being over populated enough (or low enough level) to receive it. I've seen it pop up once or twice on some of my lower level Watcher PCs.

I'm currently getting the xp tick as a lvl 6 watcher, so may well be that.
