I feel like the perk could use a boost. With the improvements to MW/Shield/Flame Weapon facilitating melee combat, there's a sense of redundancy about there being no other bonuses that indicate at the perk being oriented thus.

The addition of the Martial Weapon feat could assist in making melee combat more accessible to users of the perk - as well as, perhaps, a small AB bonus.

Another option would be for the feat to be reworked in its entirety. The spell augmentations could be scrapped in favour of other thematically-aligned bonuses: some direct-damage spells could have a portion of their damage converted to the divine/negative types, or a bonus could be added to the sorcerer's saves depending on their charisma score (a la Divine Grace - albeit as a watered down version.)

Grotesque

I think the following adjustments would be fitting:
+ Ditch all the perk's save bonuses, and instead convert 1/3 of their CHA mod into universal saves.
+ Allow the +1 divine/negative damage given from magic weapon to scale with greater magic weapon.
+ Give the evil-aligned sorcerer some kind of boost. Maybe a weak stat drain on-hit. As it stands, the neutrally/good-inclined receives 50% negative immunity from shield (arguably more convenient than 50% divine immunity), and they dish out divine damage, which is virtually unblockable without rare, divine immunity loot, as opposed to the evil sorcerer whose negative damage could all be blocked with negative energy protection.
I don't think Zealous Faith should necessarily get martial weapon proficiency. Their inherent simple weapon proficiency still gives them a handful of weapons to use, e.g morningstar, spear, shortspear, mace.
