Dat Rubble Mover is STRONK (A Derfo Tale)

Our Tale beings as all great saga's do, with a Quest Train. Toot Toot. We steam on through our quest, split our loot and most of the party logs off. But whats this? A Red NPC! And so our heroes heroically fire at the traveler in the Dark, and despite attempt by Todric the timid, we are quickly beaten and mugged by these fearsome foes





But we are not be beaten! These Deserters may have Deserted the Field, but we hunt them down. Into the lower, only three of our original number we are joined by the Shouting Swordsman and... a halfling. Just a halfling. On we fight, the fighters and warriors and pugilists trying old steel against the chittering horde.



And on...



Not only a horde but a herd of mechanical cow men, burst into the streets as we fight on. The herd was not friendly, our screens a wall of hostile red.



Finally our heroes find a door they are able to break into, and despite traps and corpses... no bandits.



But AH HA! Our Eagle Eyed Swordsman yet finds another doorway, and here we find the Brigands basking in their post battle glee. Winston the Worker, William the Watcher, and Harold and Hilbert the Hired Hands. We square up and ready... and Todric the Timid decides to risk all our efforts on his fists

Collecting the stolen goods we leave to find a few Chosen... no matter, until a few turned to another few hundred and then THIS guy shows up... look at the center of the screenie. Look at that. That bastard.

Still, through impressive skills of running away, only half of our band is slain by the beast, and all are dragged to sorta safety.

An amazing mini event, fun for all, and holy shit did I wish we had a 2nd level wizard who could cast magic weapon. Feel free to add anything else if you guys took any
