"I am but a pawn upon the chestboard to be moved. I have come to terms with that fate. All great heroes and warriors are."

But those who rise above it? They are legends.

What a bunch of fun with the half-warrior, both in blood, and in body. Definitely far more neutral in the end due to how he handled the death of a certain dwarf... using his death to fuel his own mad addiction to war.

[HIDE=Background]Oomig was born a slave a tribe of Mountain Orcs in The Vast. He was entertainment to the Orcs, but sought to be as good warriors as they and prove his worth. The chance came when a group of Tempuran mercenaries overwhelmed the tribe. Seeing the bloodied half-child combat ready near the many dead slaves the company's Lieutenant Kormark saw potential. He took the Half-Orc under his wing, training him in warfare and to embrace the power of his blood. He was taught that strength and honor is everything, and that the boiling of blood is what proved we lived. He enjoyed his battles as a mercenary but none more than his service in warfare. He became addicted to the bloodrage and carnage of battle, killing countless men and women, and losing his own arm and leg over time as a survivor. Now he seeks to continue his high on warfare, by leading all around him into warfare.[/HIDE]
[HIDE=Goals]Start wars and see wars through their end. His goal is to spread violence and warfare, believing that the blood will harden these people against the Dread Empire. The people must be trained to fight and destroy their foes. He will create a company to follow the drums of war with him, be it in Upper or Lower. He despises betrayal, bureaucracy, and honorless tactics that ruin war before it starts (assassination, propaganda, framing, thievery), following the archaic rules of proud open warfare like his father. He seeks to become a Warlord and having the masses follow him into battle.[/HIDE]

And the fun just came from there. He was never intended to be in Lower but it fit with him. A special thanks to all of you people out there, and to the DM team for the fun interactions. Now the screenshots you have all been waiting for.

Humble Beginnings

Our story begins with... death? A stroke of luck that his life did not end there, and began, with a little dwarf called Munt

Deciding to make something of himself, he decided he would become the greatest mercenary in Sanctuary. Some did not enjoy his tactics... and many who thought he was plain stupid.

And those who did!

Origin Story?

He actually enjoyed meeting the people he warred with. Oomig was huge about declaration, up to the very end. Why war if a foe does not even know you are warring?

The Turning and Middling
A time period full of strange meetings, activities, and failures. Failure was a big part of this period and where his neutral nature showed. All starting with a patrol of the In-Between.

And a great reunion of smith and fool... The beginning...

(Hint, I die to red things often)

The aftermath was near explosive!

And the turning-point. Lingering with the thoughts of incompetence and the runts of Upper Sanctuary, Oomig grew tired of Upper and left behind everything. Even a large amount of debt, to go below into Lower and join Saul on the crusade Oomig envisioned all to be a part of.

Only to see old friends and new enemies become closer!

Rebellious? Warmongering? Powerhungry?

At this point in time Oomig cast off his old bonds with Upper Sanctuary and sought to be not just strong, but to start a war for a new leader and to make worthy men and women out of the runts above and below. With his death, perhaps he got that?

A great example of his desire for power.

Even though he had high wisdom, he didn't listen, resulting in the events leading to his death.

It is always fun playing EFU and I suggest you all try taking over a territory and go out for enemies some time!

Vlaid

A most excellent PC who was not afraid to do what he wanted against any odds and was superb in his adaption to changing circumstances that flowed against what might have been the original concept.

Most excellent.

Nicely done Kinslayer-

whiterabbit

Great PC Kinslayer.  He stood out from the beginning, and continued to as you fearlessly adapted to circumstances.

Vagrant Savant

My favorite battle-cripple.

Pigadig

I only got to meet him once, when he was first created, but having a level 2 pvp slapfight with him in the intro zone gave a great sense of how much fun he would be.
