Have a high DC bolt attack, tremor sense, sneak attack, poison, and now they can apparently stealth?  Seems a bit over the top.

There are worse things that spawn where they do. They are dangerous to certain classes, but easily dealt with if those potentially vulnerable classes travel with someone else.
