The Ascension Resurgent

Hello!

As the basic idea and existence of the "Cult of Ascension" does not have an inherent basis of alignment and the shrine itself rather quiet since the pyrotechnics of a month or so back I would like to invite anyone who has ever been interested in the faction to consider renewed interest!

Though the "Brotherhood of Ascent", a player faction of chaotic and goodly leanings has had a long functional relationship with the Temple there have been individuals from every spectrum of the alignment scheme. With this current band finding itself thrust from the presence of Lower Sanctuary I thought it'd be neat to try and revive things in a newer angle.

Since the beginning of EFU:R there have been a number of feats ranging from protest to open revolt and violence and even disruptive bombings on the settlement of Sanctuary above. There have been Lower gangsters, Sojourner stylized figures, Elven rebels, dissidents, and men and women of all walks of life.

One thing remains though that has never changed is the fact that it is one of EFU's longest lasting protagonists of Sanctuary at Large. In resurgence of the faction I'd be glad to speak with any PCs, existing or intended, about the possibility of showing another side of the Faction.

After all, Lower Sanctuary is a home of many individuals of varying histories and aspirations. There are few places that scholars and merchants can rub shoulders with thugs and murderers, and so on. In the unique design of the Cult of Ascensions anarchic, leaderless style there is boundless opportunity for varying characters of very different aspirations to find themselves beneath the larger banner.

The singular unifying idea tieing many fringe notions together.

Race: Non-monsterous (Presumably but I guess in a weird way it could foster a monstreous presence potentially)
Class: Non-Druid

Still a plot with a good deal of potential.  Needs a few good men to champion its completion.
