Bypass nwn master server - Just a tip

The old thread seems to be gone and people have been asking, so here is the means to bypass the auth server for nwn (that delay where it searches for it before joining efu, etc)

Open notepad as administrator (right click icon in start menu / search for it on windows 8 and right click > Run as Admin)

Navigate with "file" inside of notepad to  C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc

Change the drop down menu from text files to "all files"

Open the file called "Hosts"

copy and paste the following into the file after the current last line

0.0.0.0 nwmaster.bioware.com
0.0.0.0 nwnauth.kr.infogrames.com
0.0.0.0 66.244.193.142
0.0.0.0 203.239.47.115


Go to file and click save. That's it.

Seeing as its relevant; adding this line under the rest to the Hosts file will also bypass the brief freeze just before "Connection failed. Try another Nick" in some instances when connecting through the game's default startup menu.
