[Another work of verse is published, at first independent of any larger collection. It is printed upon pamphlets that may be found through the Well. More than any other location, however, it finds a place on the common boards and tables of the offices of the League of White.]

Sacred in Her Sight

Sister Amélie of the Sisterhood of the Sibylline Vine

In the Style of the Kulamet

First Edition
Pub. Tesrin Hray 2, IY 7788

Where Holy Mother stood a time; In ages past, when world was new;
And life had not yet reached its prime; Was Kula, shepherd's, guidance due.

And up she took the yearning seed; And up she took Her tools to sow;
And spread Her alms, the land to feed; And all within it there to know.

That all are due the Wyld's rite; That all have purpose in Her sight;
And by her sacred charge to we; Shall each and every soul be free.

For where within resplendent soul; Is gold and silver to be found?
'Tis virtue only, living whole; The selfless are Edutu-bound.

And for the meek in Kula's light: The world entire promised well;
For loved they are in verdant sight; Her charge to us upon the stele.
