If not before, then you are now aware that a survivor from Got Valdhazr has arrived in Ephia's Well. More, that he has been Voiced and enjoys the protections of a citizen despite no alliance existing between our two settlements. Far from it, in fact. You both remain in the shadow of the Prince's curse, and the dead remember. They've time for nothing but.

The letter attached is merely intent, and there is little to act upon yet. If and when the dwarf chooses to act, the law will fall not just on him, but those who exploited our laws to grant him citizenship. I've at least one name on that last, but I suspect there are more. Spies and traitors to be rooted out and staked at our gates.

Balladeer Haluin and Aurelio were key to the purchase of the dwarf's citizenship. Coin provided by the former, ten thousand or so, with the urging of the latter. I suspect there is likely an Acolyte or two who helped make up the difference.

Legally, the dwarf's yet to act on the Prince's promise. And of course, given Aurelio's position as Magistrate makes the matter that much more dubious.
