Dearest Aurelio,

I am leaving you with testimony to a crime that was done to me by the Apothar Zol Nur. You should find it by the reception desk of the Balladeers, otherwise I have a copy I will share when next we meet. It was witnessed by the Scribe Jaecop and my sister Narwen, both of whom verify my account.

The testimony was brought to the Fourth Legion Soldier Carrot but he refused to prosecute stating I was 'wasting his time'. He believes that magical assaults, if they do not result in grievous injury, should not be prosecuted. This sets an exceedingly dangerous precedent if that becomes the Fourth Legion's policy. You can well imagine the magical harm that can be done to a person without leaving any mark.

I pray that this in addition to the Fourth Legion's refusal to prosecute Soldier Phor the Peaceful for his crime against the Mother will result in lasting change.

If the Fourth Legion refuses to prosecute crimes, perhaps there needs to be a recourse?
