I believe this is warranted due to the new setting, and we aren't all withered to shit.

I actually like it as it is!

It gives a different approach to just cast another restoration/remove disease/neutr. poison.

It makes the caster a bit more reluctant when it comes to a decision whether to actually help the cursed PC or not, instead of just "Oh, ok, there you go"...
