Professor Attar,

I have heard you are an exemplary scholar, and moreover, a professor, though some ignorant belligerents contend that (rightful) title! I shall have you know that I too am a scholar, and dearly appreciate the academic arts, and so I extend upon you the honour of meeting with me at my expense! I have so much to discuss with your exceedingly learned personage, for truly you are the chief scholar of Ephia's Well!

When and where shall we speak?

Hamdan al-Hamdan,

My schedule is incredibly busy, but I will see if I can find you a slot somewhere. I care very little for the opinion of the unopinionated when it comes to titles. I had two degrees and a bachelors before I even came to Ephia's Well, and I'm close to finishing my second one from the backwater inst-- Sandstone College.

Apologies for the tardiness of my response, but I rarely notice new letters piling up on my desk amidst all the papers, not to mention - I rarely spend time in the Well - the truth is OUT THERE, and that is where I usually am.

Find me at your convenience. I have also something you might wish to purchase - a ROGUE'S NECKLACE - that I held in my pack for the past week, thinking of you.

The emerald, however, is gone - I have fed it to a Groknak (Baby).

Best regards,
Jamileh Attar
