[A letter to the Tower, addressed to Apothar Oscar Kreutz]

Dear Oscar,

I look forward to hearing a summary of what went on during that particular experiment. I can only presume it was endlessly succesful, and the ominous laughter that rang above the Well was a sign of defeat. Find me when you can. I really think it is time we find a way to move past mistrust and start keeping wormingers alive...

In other matters, I believe there is a new project to occupy Xon, vis a vis the creation of Water. Do ensure he doesn't call forth any Horrifying Monster from Realities Beyond Our Imagination, would you?

Yours,

Alejandro

[A letter soon arrives, well pressed and smelling faintly of mizzar]

Magistrate,

My intention is to furnish a full summary when all of our experiments have concluded.  You and I may find the results of our interrogation infinitely fascinating, but my suspicion is that the Citadel at large would rather hear (truthfully) that we've managed to harm it.  At this time we've not yet begun probing its defenses.

We have established that the Beast is capable of cunning and deception.  We have also established that it can communicate.  It is difficult to parse, but the language is distinctly Low Fomorian.  I am leaving the translation of its answers to our questions to the Nadiri.  I understand they have reached out to your for tutoring in the language, and I commend the effort.

The Beast, and by extension the other Devils of Thirst, are capable of lying.  Feigning injury specifically.  Each experiment is equally an opportunity for our guest to test the bars of his cell.

I'll find you soon for a more involved chat.
