Alejandro,

I hope this letter finds you well. I write to inquire into an academic subject, namely the Bardic Art. While I practice it on my own account, I lack a strong theoretical basis to analyze it, and wish to hear your insight. What is the nature of the Art? From whence is its power derived?

I have been in discussion with the Nadiri, Zain, about his own study of Aspects. He maintains that they are products of the collective unconscious of the Ash, and are thoughtforms manifest on the material world. He then speculated that the Bardic Art taps into a similar wellspring of power, into the nature of ancient, primeval narratives. I find the notion fascinating, you see, for it implies a certain degree of democracy to the very material foundations of the world. Such foundations might be studied and, through the microscope and telescope of Asterabadian thought, reveal great truth, and therefore great power, to those willing to investigate.

Do write me back, or find me in person, if this notion interests you.

I have the honor to be your obedient servant,
Domhnall Judicael Guivarch

My dear friend,

It would be my pleasure to discuss this, moreso in person. As a brief advance, I will admit that I am no theorist, but I do believe Art is, above all, communication. And, at its core, it is communication that lives at the heart of all magic.

Let's see if we can find a moment, in the hustle and bustle? After all, it's also about time to learn how I can contribute to your next campaign. I look forward to seeing you in the white toga.

Yours,

Alejandro

PD: The Clouds Burst was a fascinating read. Would you allow me to make some inquiries to have it added to the Library of Industry in the Krak?

Erudiche

Alejandro,

A conversation would be a pleasure, and to have this work included in the Krak's inventory would be an honor.
