Dear Volunteers, League Members, Campaign Personnel, and Friends,

A very warm greeting to my most loyal friends and allies in this election. Congratulations on your excellent work thus far, but let us not for a moment let up! Continue your efforts in promoting the League via speaking to possible voters, Voiceless residents, and interested financiers. We must continue our fundraising to earn as much as we can towards our efforts if we are to emerge triumphant! While we are opposed to the gross excesses of many adventurers, we must reject no means besides criminality to succeed in our efforts. We must, in addition to our positive campaigning, engage in negative campaigns: speak against injustice, against the Purple and Gold, against Marcellus and Veshuib, and for a brighter future beneath our leadership.

Take to the bellows, take to the streets, take to the swirling vortex of pamphlets which even now whirr about our heads as thought caught in a tempest. Let us make a terrific splash in the Well's tired, still waters! I offer you a few slogans which might typify our campaign:

Dom's With Us!
For the Promises!
For the People!
For Everyone!
Masters in Our Own House!

I would like to gently discourage the use of the phrase "Up the White", which might be seen as overly partisan and self-interested. You may, of course, take creative license in developing your own positive and negative slogans, but these few are fairly safe bets. Feel free to be creative and colorful in your verbal attacks upon the other Leagues and candidates, although I cannot be seen to condone baseless slander or libel. Be aware at all times of your audience and what they may be receptive to in our campaign.

If you've any questions, suggestions, or any such matters to bring forth, write me. At last, be strong in the belief that life is wonderful. Be positive and believe that Democracy will always win. At all times, friends, forward! Take the initiative! It's our prize to win!

I have the honor to be your obedient servant,
Domhnall Judicael Guivarch
Redemption! Redemption!

Abala

Here, for your consideration, are a few more slogans to typify your campaign:

- Sponsored by Gers Geiger
- Make way, ye starving and ye poor! Gellema needs room for a bigger temple
- Adventuring for Voices: A Strategy for the Common Man
- Starving? My toga cost 10000 Dinars
- "Not that bad, really," says Wajeeb!
- League of Gold rejects, you're among friends!

Dear Ibn Ghalish, Friend of the Common People,

Thank you kindly for your suggestions. I've a few corrections to issue, as your friend and associate, namely that Gers Geiger is dead and may not sponsor anything, and that you ought to familiarize yourself with the principles of good propaganda and humor alike -- brevity.

I do value, sincerely, your work in the Tablet, and your continued membership in our organization. I wish you well, and am still ever-so grateful for our earlier meeting, which helped inspire me to continue with the great task of building a new democracy in our precious Well. I am sorry to have disappointed you in this regard, but hope that you shall in time see the fruits of my works. I ask not for your love, friend, merely your continued action and agitation. If only your sharp tongue had inflicted such invective upon the actual Gold candidate, or your great ideological rigor translated into measurable action in this deadly struggle.

When you develop an interest in realizing Asterabadian praxis, rather than mere theory, do let me know. I am always delighted to share your company.

I have the honor to be your obedient servant,
Domhnall Judicael Guivarch
Redemption! Redemption!

[A little poem is posted in the White League offices]

My friends, a little poem:

"The gardener wishes his flowers to mold,
to cut at his leisure - his wishes, our toll.
Yet fair blooms we are! Together we're whole!
The lilly that blooms is the one that's most bold!"

Let us talk soon. I'd love to catch up - and to see how I can serve our next candidacy.

Yours,

Alejandro

Dear Domhnall,

So far you are largely doing fine but your commitment to Mari Blacke will be your undoing.

I remain uncertain what you have promised her for her dubious support. If you have promised her a Prelate or Magistrate role, you do not need a fatespinner's Sight to know that it will end poorly.
