I have not seen you in some time. It seems your new work as Ambassador has cost you a great deal of time as of late. My own duties have kept me busied with toils as well.

You ought to know: I have had a conversation on the behalf of you and your people with Balestriere Isotta of the Banda Rossa, and she has been informed of the contour of my hopes of cooperation, cultural exchange and mutual benefit. And the lack of anything to gain by taking your home from you. Food that can only feed elves, and arms and armor that they would not use. Nothing to be gained through useless and costly bloodshed. Once this was explained to her, she has agreed to back off of her 'designs,' such as any existed, over your home.
