Bring back a few small god

I feel like some of the small gods should have survived the ash storm. It'd also make sense some refugees would keep their old faiths and not totally as assimilate to the wheel faith.  Maybe I am just  biased towards refugees refusing to assimilate.

I don't think there's anything stopping you from following whatever faith you want, but expect to get a lot of backlash from the Well society in a variety of ways.

Keep in mind also that the Old City (A.K.A the domain of the Small Gods from the previous chapter...) is effectively gone. Whatever power they had left from their faithful is likely sorely diminished, nevermind the broken faiths of the mortals who's prayers likely went unanswered. It's just not their world anymore! The Celestial Wheel, on the other hand... appears to be answering our prayers... ;)

I understand the sentiment behind this suggestion but I think the Wheel is more or less perfect as it is, and I don't think it would be a good idea to dilute it with less fully realized faiths.   

It is better to have a pantheon of nine interesting gods than a collection of small gods that were (imo) somewhat inconsistent.  The Wheel is fully integrated into the game world in a hundred different ways.  Please embrace it!
