New Random/Explorable Quest System based on Items

The idea is what if there was a questing system that offered the ability to find, or buy, an item that you take to an NPC that takes you to the quest the item provides before consuming the item. This would allow for a greater variety of quests without the reliance on actually having to rely on the players discovering explorables. It could be traded by groups that find it and are not interested, or not confident, for groat, or items. Possibly even use it as a way to get people to rally with him to go on the quest.

An example would be that you find a map that details the location of some lost ruins. Or a fragment from a seam that pointed towards where you needed to go in order to find it. Everyone gets ready and you embark on the adventure to the area by talking to the NPC. It would help a lot with long server uptimes and be a new source of items with a high possible value, without actually guaranteeing anything.
