This character was inspired by a horror game called Hellblade by the indie studio Ninja Theory. In it, a heroine warrior descends into hell to rescue her husband's soul. The main premise and twist of the game, however, is that the protagonist suffers from psychosis and debilitating schizophrenia.

I thought this was way too cool not to try and represent in an EFU character. Being an Imaskari was really fun and it was nice to have an opportunity to build on the lore that preceded him, as they are, in their quiet and unassuming way, my favourite part of EFU lore. I had the chance to make some pretty interesting discoveries about the Imaskari that Incarjeras never shared with anyone else, and if a prelude ever rolls around for their race again I recommend people take on the challenge of characterising an Imaskari.

His build was actually utterly pathetic, and he had no mechanical strength to speak of. With terrible feats, awful HP rolls, an unimpressive subrace and a dual-wield specialisation he never used due to a lack of twinblades in the module, Incarjeras was definitely not the sort of character I usually play. But he is probably the most fun I have had on efu and I will miss being able to play as him for quite a while.

I would like to think his interactions with other prominent characters of his time have left a lasting impression, and he won't be forgotten too quickly. Unfortunately, I had to reformat my Windows due to a driver error and in the process I lost all of my Incarjeras screenshots - literally all of them, I have none left. That said, he had no loot to speak of so there's nothing cool to share in that department. All I had was logs and archives of some really impressive encounters.

Shout-outs to Radvul, Lahanis, Aelynthi and Alaethe for interacting with him in a very meaningful way.

Don't know what my next will be, but I'll be around on it eventually. See you then.

You didn't think you were escaping without some screenshots did you?

Incarjeras, or 'Stick' as I accidentally named him and had to roll with forever despite being a terrible nickname, was pretty great. Playing an alien mindset is hard, more so an actually insane one, but you did it really well. He was a delight to just interact with, and as a result we wound up sticking to each other really quickly just for the sake of having more weird conversations. You know how to bring characterization like no other, and I look forward to seeing whatever does wind up coming next.

PS, you'll be seeing a few more shots of him in a thread that's a little overdue.

Incarjeras was a wonderful portrayal of a broken Imaskari mind, and the decisions that he made in order to protect the Third Empire were tragic.  I'm glad we had that last conversation at the Chapterhouse before setting out to fight the Pride.
