Karrick Thorne - Hound of Intryzz

Karrick Thorne was a simple man. He is now dead. Here are some things.

Karrick Thorne is a man whose mind was sundered and put back together as a result of the appearance of the Red Star. Though he is capable of rational thought, he too is unable to control all the facets of his mind. The chaotic nature of the Red Star left something of a bridge between his mental space, and the material plane. It's not a pleasant experience for Karrick, though he can project his thoughts into physical manifestations, it comes at the cost of comfort, lucidity, and sanity.

When he first arrived to Sanctuary, he really only stumbled around repeating what everyone else was saying. During a moment of temporary lucidity he approached Intryzz of the Pyrimo and begged him to take him in. To fix his mind, and make the pain go away. Intryzz agreed, should Karrick organize a grand Pyrimo event successfully.


He did, and after the event Intryzz took him in, and went into his mind...




Once within his mind, he came upon a fragment of himself who was trying to stop him. The fragment warned Karrick that what the Mindflayer was going to do was not mend him, but make him into a weapon. Karrick was fine with this.




He fought his fragmented mind, and when he awoke he was covered in a new armor, and his face was painted to make him more handsome.







And well, the rest is history.

Damned thralls! Even after I gave Edge that speshul  ioun stone you still trumped him. :'(

Thanks for bringing the fear of thralls to a town that seems more concerned about the letter of non-existent laws than the spirit of the laws.

Afforded you quite a bit of unusual protection... Don't think it opened anyone's eyes though. The influence of Intryzz and the promise of fight nights resulting in good people sacrificing themselves for the wrong reasons must've been fairly entertaining to watch.
