Sergeant Jamison Graham

Hey Folks! I'm sorry to say it, but Sergeant Graham died doing what he thought was right : Chasing the Law.

Jamison was never a powerbuild. He was a man, built to have an iron will and a strong arm, and that alone. He never wore anything save his Purple Dragon armor or his Watcher Equipment (except one helmet) in over a month and a half of living. He used a Halberd taken from the Watcher chests. And he fought for justice. Alas, he died in the end doing his duty.

• Raised in Cormyr with his sister, Jamison served within the Purple Dragons during his youth. Fighting to reclaim his homeland during the Darkening, he was cursed in a transmutative experiment by his sister. Finding Sanctuary after the destruction of his unit, he has taken up service with the Watchers and Warders, seeking a way to turn his curse into a boon, and take his measure of ‘justice’ (vengeance) from the Dread.

• Your character goals:

• A Tyran in faith, Jamison will try to restore Law and Order to Sanctuary, with the Watchers as the means of action. Disgusted by the frequent abuses of power by the Covenant and members of Sanctuary, Jamison will coordinate with like minded officials such as Marius to see criminals brought to justice, and Order restored. He will have watchers and informants reporting on crimes, and writs for arrest and fines drawn up. Jamison will face the chaotic elements of Sanctuary, and have the Watchers (and by extension Sanctuary) profit from it.

• In addition, While only a lay follower of Tyr, Jamison has and will coordinate with individuals such as Fadl to see corruption brought to an end. An inquisition formed to see individuals suspects of Treason against Mankind brought before judgement. However, he is not a zealot. He will see that even Necromancers, Internalists, and Diabolists are given fair trial in the blind eyes of Tyr.

• As a Watcher, Jamison has seen the rampant abuse of Justice by Councilors. His fellows have been murdered, with the criminals slapped on the wrist and let free. Investigations have been stymied, traitorous elements inducted into the Ranks. As a Sergeant, Jamison will seek to protect his men from hostile Councilors, and leverage his power to see those Councilors brought to justice. Jamison is a rather resolute individual, and as such will not tolerate abuses of Sanctuaries institutions by cowards and thugs.

• Secondly, Jamison has his focus on the War with the Dread. He sees the conflict as a competition for the same goal. Defeat the Dread, and protect Sanctuary. He will set milestones to achieve this end, such as hunting down the Pride, and invite competition from the Knights and Covenant, all in the pursuit of Victory. He will not tolerate either institution threatening the survival of Sanctuary.

• Having been ‘cursed’ without access to beneficial magics for several years, Jamison has sought for a ‘cure’ to his condition. He believes he has found it in Serena Tower. As he is confined to his natural body, he has no choice save to augment his natural body further. He addition to pursuing the aforementioned goals, Jamison will seek to demonstrate the power of Serana Tower and strengthening himself further. He will duel with other players to demonstrate his superiority, or learn to fight those people, thus becoming stronger. He will lead expeditions to every corner of the dark, no matter how dangerous, to learn to fight every foe the dark can throw at him. He will lend his expertise to efforts against the Dread, and to his fellows in the machine.

For the sake of folk currently alive, I won't reveal too many spoilers, including regarding Troff's death. Here're a few screenshots I grabbed from his life, Hopefully you all enjoy.

As Jamison liked to call it, "Operation: Trash Heap." They got called out to kill animatrons, and the watcher was impotent in the face of a metallic foe. He died in the fight, and was sent to the Deep Forges for experimental processes. The orders were cancelled, as he was not deemed worthy, but they brought him back from the edge none the less. And so he sought to become a Sergeant, to earn his way in.



Jamison was one of the few people who always traveled with Ayes when he went to the Depths. He knew he could die in an instant if he ran into a Beholder, yet for him, it was something to strengthen himself. He was a man, cursed, to be unable to use magic. And so he had to live and grow without it.



They were, once, called out by a crazy Mystrilite to hunt down a Mystran, one of the last remaining vestiges of Mystra. They were given an option : to turn on the Mystrilite for the same rewards, and to leave. Following the Azuthian, Zurello, orders, they slew the Mystrilite.. To have to fight the Mystra. They survived.

Jamison was just a man. A man with a purpose, and the drive to see it done. He worked tirelessly, often spending hours writing reports and trying to bring the Watch back into a semblence of Order, after the failing of Lieutenant Troff and Sergeant Maldwyn.

He did get to see the surface again, though. And hopefully, Tyr will judge him worthy of his service.
