Polymorph Self: Zombie not immune to crits

My PC, Tobit, went on the Illusion Clown quest.  Near the end, he used Polymorph:Self Zombie and attacked Bobo the clown.  Bobo rolled a crit on Tobit, and took him from full hitpoints to negative nine.  I was under the impression that Zombie form would be immune to crits just as undead are.  ShadowCharlatan reimbursed the XP lost.  You can see the combat log below:

I assume that Polymorph Self:Zombie should be immune to crits?

It never has made casters immune to critical hit. Not really a bug

AllMYBudgies

I have never heard of the form giving any immunity to critical hits before.

HalflingPower

I was under the impression the negative resistances and the 10 dr were the selling point of zombie form, if memory serves.

Right you are.... Sorry SC!  I'll have Tobit on for a bit tonight if you want to take some XP.

No bug here.

It should make you immune to crits, though, regardless of what Bioware intended the spell to do. It doesn't make IC sense for the spell not to give that immunity. Undead are immune to critical hits, period.

It's not like that'd be some massively abuseable boost.

When given with the already fairly powerful additions, I would disagree.

Well, conversely, such a high DR doesn't make much sense for the zombie form. It wouldn't be tough to balance things out.

Just saying that the current zombie form is very weird if it's supposed to represent a zombie.
