In pnp monks get a slow fall ability that allows them to decrease their speed as they descend a wall effectively allowing them to scale down walls more efficiently.  What I suggest is that at levels 4, 6, 8 the monk gets one, two, three uses of an ability that gives one autosuccess climb like a potion of levitation.

Or, how about simply giving them a level-appropriate addition to their climb save DC? Pure monks with tumble should be the best climbers on the server. You could just add their monk level to their climb save and it would work in the current system.

If you have str+dex 6, tumble 5 and climbing 10 and no armor check penalty, you are the best climber on the server (why not roofrunner rough, well trained fighter or barbarian from mountains?), because you can climb without any claw with risk only if you roll 1.

Clumsy and fat monk with high wisdom and lore, with no tumble, climbing, and low dex, shouldn't be the best climber.

I think that only automatic fail reduction can be any improvement, which is not intended, because it was really many times said in other climbing suggestions. But I think that the damage was balanced to consider total HP, because sorcerers don't die now (or I am simply lucky :) ).

it's quite easy to get +25 to your climbing at the moment. This isn't really necessary.
