Death on 0

Took a hit that downed my character, but stabilized him at 0. The next instant the fugue screen was loading. The logs say Patrice Vermand killed my character. The creature that had attacked me did not. Vermand was all the way back in sanctuary when this happened as well. Not too sure what happened here.

I'm not sure what happened here either, but I was in the room with Patrice Vermand.  Both Garem and I saw the message that he had killed Thomas Mis-Born with no explanation as to why or how it happened.

Only explanation I can think of, is that You provided an endurance or similar HP granting buff to him before leaving, then rested while he was out in the field and the subsequent loss of HP killed you while low.

I've seen Helmets being removed killing players before for similar reasons.

If you indeed had a buff and it expired, it is possible that killed you.

He was buffed, so that's probably what it was.

That being said, it seemed to fade pretty quick. Petey, you weren't dispelled by proper IC methods or by some improper OOC bug were you? Did the other spells fade at about the same time?

It was like I lost everything when I got knocked out.

Should have taken a screenie of it, but didn't. :S
