Clown Illusion Quest: Pt. 2 Mirror Maze

We were having a lot of issues with this quest. After killing all the maze masters the main portal wouldn't sends us to the corridor leading out, but instead to one of the trapped transition rooms. Likewise the main trapped treasure chests in each room would not unlock. I'm not sure if they were supposed to unlock when the maze master of that room died, or if it's there for a rogue in the party, but it wasn't until we bullied Meldread into opening one up that the main portal started working right. Also, there was no journal entry for entering the maze, and therefore no bonus xp, which I'm told is supposed to be there.

Not sure what exactly happened here with this Quest as I wasn't observing.  However, three times I had to be called to solve problems and issues involving it. (The first was mentioned in another thread where Patrice somehow killed Thomas despite being multiple areas away.)

I unlocked the chests and there was nothing in them.  The group had apparently become stuck in a room and couldn't get out after having killed all the bosses.  I jumped the group back to the portal, after awarding them some XP and healing loot for completing the quest, then had to unlock all the doors that lead to the exit.

I'm not sure if they were doing something wrong or if there was something bugged with the quest.

Well we could actually leave that last room- the problem was that we'd taken every other seeming available option in every other room.
