Spell Failure without Impairment

I am experiencing a weird case of spell failure despite the character sheet saying 0% spell failure. I believe that this was because I picked the left hand missing impairment in the player creation area and then deactivated it. I do still have the missing leg. Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Yes, it is. Please don't take an impairment if you don't plan on actually having it, as it will inflict spell failure. No idea if it was intentional or not that when removing the impairment in the creation area through the dialogue it will not remove the spell failure, but no need to even go down that road in the first place if there's no intention to.

The spell failure in the character sheet is the engine's Arcane Spell Failure that is from wearing armor/shields. EfU's arcane/divine spell failures don't show up on the character's sheet.
