Character: Lach Enkenews
Message on shift or player tools reset:
"ERROR: Unable to find an equipped skin.
Player tools disabled."

I want my army and I want to control-companion it too!
:D

While I appreciate trying to be funny, I'd like people to focus on the bug itself. What exactly is the supposed bug here? You shift and then can't use the player tools?

Charnelist

Precisely. Although I rather think not having an equipped skin in that form might be the actual bug?

Tala

Could be! Will take a look when I have the time :)

If you are looking into this, it happens to lycanthropes as well and (I assume) shifters. Any time your "skin" changes, your player tools go away. You can bind them again, but need to do it every rest (possibly reset, I forget)

This is correct. I did this each time I shifted forms (any form) on my druid. You just need to replace the player tools on your bars and it works fine, even though it says some error message like "skin not found" or whatever.

Charnelist

To address the latest two posts, that being the case in nearly all polymorph effects on the server, it is not the case with the Lesser Slime Form. Lacking a player skin, it is actually not possible to reset/re-bind any playertools, as the player tool menu itself is inaccessible.

To clarify, on shifting into Lesser Slime Form and receiving the error message,
You lose player tools (normal)
You cannot access the player tool menu (not normal)
You cannot bind or reset any player tools (not normal)
You therefore cannot have any player tools while in this form. (not normal)

Thank you!

Both of the slime forms have hides assigned them. Can someone else confirm the hides are missing?

When I played ooze druid a couple months ago I had to re-assign player tools each time I shifted into slime form, same as any other wildshape form.

*Bump*
This is still a current issue, so if any players are interested in giving this class kit a try, I would appreciate some backup confirmation :)
