Blessed Stone disappears

I found a 'Blessed Stone', a stone tablet that casts Bless 1/day.  Upon reset it was taken with the plot items.  It may not be a bug, but it seems odd a stone object with 1/day spells would only last one reset.
"So what else is on your mind besides 100 proof women, 90 proof whisky, and 14 karat gold?"
