At long last one of my favorite PCs I've had in years has met his end. I want to give a big thanks to the DM staff for all the crazy miracles and involvement over the last few months. Also the numerous PCs who helped me out in pursuit of all my individual and broader plots. Everything from boring day to day interactions to hellish fights where surrounded by all sides we faced all challenges.

With Rehk I wanted to push the boundaries of what I have done in the past with getting so caught up in trying to stir conflict. The idea of a Garagosian who was more picky of his conflict and focusing upon piracy and war as a more philosophical pursuit was thrilling.

I wanted Rehk to basically be the ultimate henchman and help as many people as I could with their PC factions and plots instead of getting swept up in the Metaplot side of things.

Fifty contracts for PC plots, DM events and helping people quest which were had in 50 vials of PC Blood carried with him at all times. These would have been used in fun rituals had I got Bloodmage.

Over a dozen and a half diamonds of small, large, or regular size.

Worked for all four active prefect PCs as a mercenary.

Worked for every side of the Cult War and their various incarnations as people died, new people came, etc.

Worked for corrupt watchers and legitimate ones alike

Worked for the Ordinants both before and after the Crystal's rise.

Worked for Directors

Worked for Agents

Worked for Crime Lords

Worked for Necromancers.

Worked for Dendar Cultists.

Worked for Paladins

Amusingly enough though he lost PvP when he had boths arms he was UNDEFEATED in over seven PvPs in which I was attacked by PCs from stealth or invisibility who tried to bring me down.

All seven occurring without the use of his summons.

Though he was CN from the start he remained 1 point away from evil at the end of his life.

Though I never got my goal of getting Garagos' godly standing changed to involve "Naval Warfare" as a portfolio with Valkur's demise

Though I never got Bloodmage (Though got close)

Though I never got to actually pursue his legitimately IC and part of my application plans for becoming a PC turned God in EFU:R (Which was the plan after Bloodmage)
---

His transition from craven bandit on day 1 of EFU to solemnly and willingly marching to his death at a chance to achieve ultimate bloodmage power was an amazing journey and far more fun than his start or his destination.

Cathbadh's Axe hopefully lives on through all the cool PCs who have stepped up with an interest in leadership roles. If not at the very least y'all have a good jumping off point for causing trouble and mischife down the road.

I end 2016 knowing that after all the headaches and ups and downs over many years EFU I've been able to have the most fun I have had in years on this crazy PC.

Most importantly though that I've still been able to find so much god damn fun from this crazy server.

I can't put into words how fun it has been having a PC where people were saying-

Instead of the usual IRC jabs and barbs about how I always quit my PCs or abandon factions or leave everyone high and dry

It really felt great all the support I got from people for sticking to what was an otherwise very, very, very difficult PC to play at times.

"I can't believe RwG is still playing Rehk with all that spell failure".

I've got over a hundred screenshots most of them I hope to post in one form or another but that will come when I get back from Holiday in January.

Rehk was awesomely good fun, and I wish our interactions hadn't been so limited. Good job, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Hope you enjoy the next one just as much!

I'll have to echo BoR's sentiments. It was great to watch Rekh's transition from a seedy day one thug, to a cripple, to a prophet, to the leader of a diverse PC faction that has the potential to outlive the character. Even while being extremely busy IRL, you managed to be around enough to bring a lot of flavor to the server through him.

Oh Captain my Captain! It was an enjoyable partnership, RwG. War and Avarice.  You proved most of us wrong and had fun doing it.
