Knighthood oaths

I'm putting together some forum stuff, books and the like for concepts heavily based around knighthood.

Currently I'm putting together a list of various oaths such as oath of silence, oath of poverty and the like. If you have any (serious) suggestions for oaths, feel free to drop them in here and I'll consider putting them in.

Keep in mind they don't necessarily have to be oaths of good intent.

This sounds awesome... and useful towards what my current character's plans! Therefore, I'm a little hesitant to go about this in an OOC manner instead of IG. But I probably misunderstand what you're angling for so here are my thoughts.

Oath of Faith
Oath of Vows-Keeping
Oath of Mental Faculty
Oath of Justice
Oath of Birthright (racism towards non-humans? nobility/commoner caste system?)

Fealty, obedience, chivalry, justice, honor, charity?

 Fealty is a biggy.

Really you can just make an oath to any virtue.

Oath of Humility.
Oath of Compassion.
Oath of Mercy.
Oath of Kindness.

Oath of Slaughter
Oath of Conquest
Oath of Secrecy
Oath of Wealth

To name some non-conventional ones.

Don't worry, I'm not trying to recruit via this thread or something. I can always add more oaths later after I get stuff rolling more IG due to the way I am setting stuff up. All will be revealed soon....

Just need some more ideas for oaths.

Was very surprised to have not seen this so far

Oath of Vigilance (To what is deemed by his master corrupt)
A promise to be vigilant for what his master deems corrupt

Also, perhaps there's an opportunity for abandoning the single view of knighthood and take it a different way.

Black Knighthood and White Knighthood, like LOTR wizards, for example. Each have principles in common, but also unique principles.
Or maybe go the route of the monk orders.
