The Winter Court

I'm creating one thread for all the PCs involved, but I'll speak about Imogen and post her screenies first.

Imogen was a changeling who had lived in Arcadia for so long that she remembered nothing of her history as a "human." As a result, of the groups, she was probably the most fey of the lot. Near everything she did was in service of the Duchess of Taluann, who eventually became Queen of Arcadia.

A lot of thanks go to Dash and the players in this faction, it was a lot of fun to play in this side plot, which intersected the main plots more than expected.

On to the screenshots then.

Imogen and Selma when they are first sent to Ymph by the Duchess. This is the most human Imogen ever looked.

Fey games with alchemist's fire (Selma eventually blew everyone up.)

Reforging the Chain of Corynthiole, and freeing Shawn Fletcher from the fey shroom in his head.

Before the final battle for control of Arcadia. A battle which would be very bloody, as you'll see.

After Sabel and Selma both died in fighting a massive number of fey, including three powerful lieutenants, we come to the end...and Imogen kills the Prince of Thopsee Shee (the first time).

But the Prince is tricksy, and he uses the power of the Chain to rise and kill the Queen!

So, the Prince needs to die again, this time compliments of Imogen's fey wolf.

With all of the rulers of Arcadia dead, Imogen and Little Bird decide to abandon Ymph and go to Arcadia where...

The Maw of Ravenous Twilight!

And the Money Shot

Always loved the Fey plots. Only got to see Imogen a few times when I returned from hiatus, but what I did see I was very impressed and intrigued! Cool char, yo.

Jessica Smith, AKA (Little Bird) Has been around longer than some know. A quiet, negative, emo personality. Always standing quietly, watching and listening...

(Quiet talks, in quiet places...)

She became known as Little Bird or Birdy...

She didn't start on day one but she made it through to the end and followed Imogen Wolf into the portal to Arcadia.

It was great fun RPing with all the Fey and everybody else that got close enough to Birdy to learn anything about her past.

Thanks for the fun Dash! :cool: :)

I had immense fun with the Winter Court. I loved interacting with these wild, freaky feys.

I had great plans to drive them away from the grasp of Auril the Arch-fey ! sadly, timezone issues didn't allow for this plot to grow.

Capricious, I think you may have missed uploading some of the intended screenshots. Just from seeing that the 'money shot' and the 'before the final battle for control of Arcadia' are the same picture.

I'm also wondering what the 'Taluaan' actually is. This whole fey event kind of built off the agreement (i.e. the purported silencing of the fey) that took place after the masks plot was concluded, in which Balthasar and a few others chose to grant power to the 'Prince', although the emissary was of 'Taluaan'. I suppose it's all just an amusing little conflict of the Feywildes though.

It is through Art, and through Art only, that we can realise our perfection.

Fixed the link.

Also, we're talking about fey here, nothing is clear, titles change, even banners change at a whim. Trying to follow it is near impossible, even for those of us who played changelings!

Ehm, Selma did not blow up the barrel!  Sabel did!

Any way,  Selma Macrnow was the youngest Daughter of a very minor Nobel in Old Port.  She always had an odd facination for violence, not the blood, but the savage beauty of watching two people fight to survive.  She was eventually sent away by her Father for dishonoring his name, and ended up with the Fey.

She was the Political one of the group.  She would insist on manners at all times, even when dealing with the enemy.  As she became more Fey, she became even more fanatical about Manners and her love of blood sports grew.

In the end she died fighting for her Queen.  She was not a strong fighter at all, buildt more for RP than for mechanics.  (Pure Rogue with a 7 H/MS, but over 20 in persuade and Bluff)

Seems Cap got most of the shots, I'll see if I have others to add later.

Shawn Fletcher would actually join the Winter Court after the chain event freedom him of his THRALLDOM to the summer court. In doing so, he became far less human then he ever was before. Imogen constantly shaped the way my character perceived the world, ever since the very very beginning of my fey journey. Much kudos to the whole fey team <3

[hide="Shawn's Winter Changes RPwise][tface=walter]UNSEELIE FEY CHANGES[/tface]
Dash has given my reign with deciding how I want to recover from the loss of the Summer fey influence, and this subsequent change into a Changeling. As all memories from before the change are looked at from a distance, I am roleplaying his gradual recovery of all the memories that were formally suppressed. This will allow me to remember the depths of that emotional turmoil without the character being overwhelmed by it.

[tface=walter]SEEMING: ELEMENTAL[/tface]
This Changeling was created during the unification of the Chain of Corynxthiole. Where frozen magics of FEY, BLOOD, and COLD were sent shivering into him. I feel that it would be appropriate to have this magic continue to flow through him in a very raw and elemental sense.

[tface=walter]KITH: COLD EARTH[/tface]
As he has always had a connection to the earth and soil throughout his play on efu, I (after a great deal of thought) feel that abandoning this would be rather poor form. I would like my seeming to manifest in a very desolate sense, but retain a bit of focus on the living that he's had. So I would like to focus the elemental sense on those hardy, lonesome plants and trees that grow in the harshest of the coldest conditions. Be they the Spruce trees of the Arctic or the Mushrooms of the Underdark.

[indent][tface=walter]Role Played Changes[/tface]
He will constantly seek out other people, becoming more and more gloomy and detached the longer he is left alone, and more and more curious the longer he is around them. Since fey are nourished off other's emotions, he will constantly be poking and prodding their comfort zones trying to learn everything about them and the world around him. Every fear, hope, uncertainty, etc. He himself will have a nearly supernatural stubbornness to him, an unwilling to die or to change.

Every secret, mystery, or emotion that he consumes is an attempt to fill some bottomless pit inside him. He will absolutely need to have other people's influences or he will start to forget what he is. Left alone for too long and he will begin to stare off into space, listening to the howls of the wind, the feeling of the ground. As if he would just eventually take root and become part of the world. [/indent][/hide]

I held back on tossing these up until after the conclusion of the plot. Feydom is incredibly rewarding and I am glad I was part of it. xoxo

I will never forget her "maniac laugh"

... it got impressed deep in my mind *shudders*
